    • Fluid Mechanics – Course Description

Fluid Mechanics is a fundamental branch of physics and engineering that studies the behavior of fluids (liquids and gases) at rest and in motion. This course introduces the fundamental principles governing fluid properties, hydrostatics, fluid statics, and fluid dynamics. It covers pressure distribution in fluids, hydrostatic forces on submerged surfaces, buoyancy, fluid flow descriptions, the continuity equation, Bernoulli’s equation, and the fundamental laws of fluid motion.
Through theoretical lectures and tutorial sessions, students will develop the ability to analyze fluid systems, solve engineering problems, and apply the principles of fluid mechanics to civil engineering and hydraulic applications.
